State Street, the US-based asset manager with trillions in assets under management, announced that it is withdrawing its US operations from the Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative (NZAM) while retaining membership via its European/UK entities. The US arm of State Street said it would no longer participate in NZAM under its existing structure, stating that its European business will continue to serve clients who have net-zero investment goals.
